# sk110749 - Application Control does not work on Locally managed Gaia Embedded devices

## Symptoms

- Application Control does not work on Locally managed 600/700/900/1100/1200R/1400/1500/1600/1800/1570R appliance when the license appears to be valid.

## Cause

Issue can be related to wrong dates of the license.

In the License menu, the appliance shows that all licenses are valid:

**Check the "*cpstat appi -f subscription_status*":**

*\[Expert@Hostname\]# cpstat appi -f subscription_status*

*Subscription status: expired*

*Subscription expiration date:*

*Subscription description: Contract is expired.*

***Device indicates that APPI blade subscription has expired.***

**Correct output:**

*\[Expert@Hostname\]# cpstat appi -f subscription_status*

*Subscription status: valid*

*Subscription expiration date: Fri Fed 15 00:00:00 2017*

*Subscription description: Contract is up to date.*
