# sk110734 - Blocking User Center Accounts

## Solution

User Center accounts cannot be deleted online. As a matter of fact, accounts are actually not deleted but rather blocked resulting in the inability to view the account online.  
Account Services assists with blocking unwanted/empty accounts. These are the requirements for doing this:

* The requesting user must be an account Administrator.  

* No products exist under "Software Products \& Appliances" section. If products exist, inform the account Administrator that there are two options available:  

  1. Products can be decommissioned (refer to Account Services).
  2. Products can be transferred into another User Center account by the account Administrator (see [sk22435](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk22435) which includes steps to create a new User Center account and information on moving products between accounts).
