# sk110273 - When disable copy/paste in SmartDashboard for Android device, cannot paste even inside the app

## Symptoms

- * When disable copy/paste in SmartDashboard for Android device, it's not possible to paste even inside the app.
* When disable copy/paste in SmartDashboard for iOS device, it is possible to copy paste inside the application, but user is prevented from pasting outside the app. The clipboard data is replaced by "Pasteboard secured by Check Point".

## Cause

For an Android device, once data is copied into the clipboard by any app, it can also be accessed from any other app. That is why copying in Android is disabled altogether, when the option is disabled in Smart Dashboard (as shown below).
