# sk110221 - Sites which are configured with 'category override' are matched for 'SSL Protocol' Application

## Symptoms

- Some sites are configured with category override in application control policy. These sites are also configured to bypass HTTPS inspection. Traffic destined for these sites shows up in the logs under the "SSL Protocol" application, which is not the chosen category in the custom site.

## Cause

Some applications may match the 'SSL Protocol' application definition based on information seen by the Security Gateway during the SSL handshake.
