## Symptoms

- If Dummy RADIUS Server is configured on the Device or RADIUS Server is unreachable and we try to authenticate using any Local User following messages are displayed in /var/log/messages file:
`
sshd[29814]:pam_radius_auth: RADIUS server 1.1.1.1:1812 failed to respond(time out 3(sec))`
`
sshd[29814]: pam_radius_auth: All RADIUS servers failed to respond.`
`
sshd[29814]: pam_radius_auth: Got response from RADIUS server`
`
sshd[29814]: Accepted password for admin from xx.xx.xx.xx port 59220 ssh2`

In this case `"Got response from RADIUS server"` is misleading as User is authenticated locally not through RADIUS.
