**Notes:**

1. To install [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.20](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk137592) on 5000 appliances, use Take 17, which became the default version on January 15, 2019.
2. To install [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R77.30](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk106162) on 5000 appliances, use *Take 216* and higher.

3. Images for 5000 appliances support [SHA-256 based certificates](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk103839) for all blades and features:

   * Effective **March 2nd, 2017**, the same image is available for all 5000 models
   * Effective **February 16th, 2017**, image for 5100, 5900 appliances has been added
   * Effective **December 16th, 2016**, image for 5200, 5400, 5600, 5800 appliances has been replaced
   * Effective February 26th, 2016, images for Check Point R77.30 for 3000 / 5000 / 15000 / 23000 appliances and Check Point R80.10 / R77.30 Dual Image have been replaced, resolving [sk122612](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk122612).

To connect to the command line interface of the 5000 Appliances, a **Mini USB** can be used. To use the Mini USB console port, download and install the [5000 Appliances Mini USB console driver](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal/role/supportcenterUser/page/default.psml/media-type/html?action=portlets.DCFileAction&eventSubmit_doGetdcdetails=&fileid=51653) on the console client machine (desktop/laptop).  
The Driver Installation Guide in PDF format for each OS is added to the same archive.

5000 Appliances Known Limitations {#Limitations}
------------------------------------------------

The below table lists all of the 5000 Appliances specific known limitations.
