# sk109734 - "Error writing to remote server: Could not write data to the socket " error from one member of a Cloning group

## Symptoms

- * /var/log/messages repeatedly showing, especially at the time modifications are pushed to the cloning group:

  ```
  
  "cloningd: Blade (null) (IP_ADDRESS_OF_MEMBER): Error writing to remote server: Could not write data to the socket"
  ```

* A member of a cloning group is not accepting modification while others work correctly. Member is reported as down in the cloning group.
* Traffic is unaffected by the issue.

## Cause

The issue is caused by an authentication problem in the cloning group, on this member only.
