# sk109714 - Core dump files for CPSEMD process are generated after each reboot of SmartEvent server

## Symptoms

- * Core dump files for CPSEMD process are generated in */var/log/dump/usermode/* directory after each reboot of SmartEvent server.

* *$RTDIR/log/cpsemd.elg* file shows that CPSEMD daemon dies and then started normally after reboot:

  `
  [CPSEMD `*PID1*` ...]@`*HostName* `[`*Date Time* `] cpsemd is going to die on sig 15`  
  `
  [CPSEMD `*PID1*` ...]@`*HostName* `[`*Date Time* `] CDBConnection::connect2Server: Connection cannot be initiated. Please make sure that 'localhost' is up and running and correctly defined. fwm may still be initializing.`  
  `
  [CPSEMD `*PID2*` ...]@`*HostName* `[`*Date Time* `] CPSEMD: `*DDD MM DD HH:MM:SS YYY*   
  `
  ... ...`
* During up time, SmartEvent server works normally (CPSEMD process does not crash).
