## Solution

Windows Azure supports the notion of extensions.

An extension is a small piece of code that the customer can enable from outside the VM. This extension gets automatically installed and enhances the VM's functionality. One of these extension is the [Azure Diagnostics Extension](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/windows-azure-virtual-machine-monitoring-with-wad-extension/) developed by Microsoft.

Currently, enabling this and other extensions is **not supported** by Check Point.
