## Symptoms

- Capsule Workspace on Samsung devices does not receive Push Notifications or Reminders.

## Cause

Samsung has implemented App Optimization, which may prevent applications from providing notifications, or any other synchronization mechanism.

Turning on (automatic/always) App Optimization for Capsule Workspace may result in missing notifications and reminders, specifically containing e-mail push notifications.

According to the [Smart Manager: The Way to Keep Your Galaxy Smartphone as Good as New Always"](http://news.samsung.com/global/smart-manager-the-way-to-keep-your-galaxy-smartphone-as-good-as-new-always) article by Samsung, the following devices may be affected:

* As well as newer devices containing the Smart Manager update
