## Symptoms

- "Illegal characters in application-group name" error when adding an application-group via CLI to the "Critical Risk" group or any other group that contains space in the name on Check Point 600 appliance running R77.20.11.

## Cause

Security validation error in *application-name* field when space is used - the group name is shown as "Critical\\ Risk", with the forbidden character: "\\".
