# sk108693 - vsx_util upgrade is stuck in the "starting policy compilation" phase

## Symptoms

- When upgrading a VSX object to R77.20, the vsx_util upgrade on management side hangs on the "starting policy compilation" phase.

## Cause

Due to a large number of objects, the policy verification takes very long time.

Although the policy installation is finished successfully, during this time the connectivity with "*fwm load* " is lost and the *vsx_util upgrade* program does not get a feedback on the compilation progress.
