# sk107841 - All Endpoint Security Clients are disconnected from the Endpoint Security Server

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security Client cannot connect to Endpoint Security Server and shows status of "Disconnected".
* *%ProgramData%\\CheckPoint\\Logs\\cpda.log* shows:  

  ```
  ---ERROR--- Failed curl_perform, error: 60 (== Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates) (CHTTPCall_curl::sendReq_internal)
  ---ERROR--- CURL error description: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired (CHTTPCall_curl::sendReq_internal)
  ```

* Endpoint SSL certificates are still outdated after renewing an expired SIC certificate on an Endpoint Security Server.

## Cause

There are several possible causes:

* The Apache SSL certificate was not automatically renewed from the Management Server certificate after automatic renewal of the Management Server certificate.
* Endpoint SSL certificates are not automatically renewed after manually renewing an expired SIC certificate on an Endpoint Security Server.
* After the upgrade of Endpoint Security server from older versions, Endpoint Security Server certificate was not renewed automatically from the Management server certificate.
