- The "`HTTPS Validation`" field shows "`empty_ssl_conn`" in the HTTPS Inspection log.

**Log Info**

**HTTPS Inspection**
> HTTPS Validation: empty_ssl_conn

## Cause

HTTPS Inspection generates a log with ''*empty_SSL_conn*'' when the client / user terminates a connection right after an SSL handshake has been completed - either the user stopped the browser / web site from loading, or closed the browser.

**Note**: This log can also appear when HTTPS Inspection is enabled, and the client does not trust the Security Gateway's CA certificate.
