## Symptoms

- * "`vpn debug on TDERROR_ALL_ALL=5`" command does not update the previously set debug flags.

  *Example*:
  1. Debug of VPND daemon for SNX was enabled:
     `[Expert@HostName]# vpn debug on slim=5`
  2. A complete debug of VPND daemon was enabled:
     `[Expert@HostName]# vpn debug trunc`
     `
     [Expert@HostName]# vpn debug on TDERROR_ALL_ALL=5`
  3. However, the debug output in the *$FWDIR/log/vpnd.elg\** files contains the information only for the previously set debug for SNX.
* The following workaround works:

  `[Expert@HostName]# vpn debug trunc TDERROR_ALL_ALL=5`

  However, in this case the default flags would not be added.
