3. In the "***Selected Accounts*** " menu, select your account(s) and click "***Done*** " button in the lower right corner.

4. You should be redirected to the ***Products*** tab.

5. Check the box to the left of the product(s), for which you need to get the last license.

6. Above the list of products, click on the right-most button "***More Actions*** " - select "***Get Last License***":

7. By default, the "***Download all licenses in a single file*** " option is selected (at the bottom of the page). You can select specific product.
Click on the "***Get License File*** " button in the lower right corner.

8. Save the License File (*\*.lic*) on your computer, where you can retrieve it later from SmartUpdate.

### There are three ways to add a license to the Repository on the Security Management Server / Domain Management Server using SmartUpdate:

All of these options will add the license to your License Repository. Local licenses will attach to an object automatically.
**Central licenses will be added as unattached to the repository and will need to be attached to an object.**

*

  #### Option 1 - Import the license from a file

This option requires a License File (*\*.lic*) to be located on your computer.
  1. Connect with SmartUpdate to Security Management Server / Domain Management Server.
  2. Go to "***Licenses \& Contracts*** " menu at the top - go to "***Add License*** " menu - click on "***From File...***".
  3. Browse to the directory where you saved the Save the License File (*\*.lic* ) file - select the file - click on "***Open***".
  4. The file will be added to the Repository, and can now be attached to the relevant object.

  #### Option 2 - Add the license manually

This option requires the License properties to be available - either refer to the e-mail that you received from Check Point User Center when this license was issued, or refer open this license in the Product Center. You can not use this option to manually add the license contained in the License File (*\*.lic*).
  1. Connect with SmartUpdate to Security Management Server / Domain Management Server.
  2. Go to "***Licenses \& Contracts*** " menu at the top - go to "***Add License*** " menu - click on "***Manually...***".
  3. Add the information from the license details into the appropriate boxes.
  4. Click the "***Attach***" button.

  #### Option 3 - Add the license from the User Center directly

  1. Connect with SmartUpdate to Security Management Server / Domain Management Server.
  2. Go to "***Licenses \& Contracts*** " menu at the top - go to "***Add License*** " menu - click on "***From User Center...***".
  3. Login to the User Center.
  4. Choose the product, from which you want to add a license.
  5. Choose "***Change IP***" and follow the steps for licensing.
  6. Select the product and choose "***Get License***" to download the license directly to the Repository.

### To attach an unattached Central license to an object:

1. Connect with SmartUpdate to Security Management Server / Domain Management Server.
2. Go to "***Licenses \& Contracts*** " menu at the top - click on "***View Repository***".
3. Right-click on the correct unattached license - click on "***Attach License...***".
4. Choose the object, to which you would like to attach this license.
5. Click on "***Attach***".
