# sk106842 - OSPF Hello packets stop being sent for several seconds every 30-45 minutes in VRRP cluster on Gaia OS

## Symptoms

- OSPF Hello packets stop being sent for several seconds every 30-45 minutes in VRRP cluster on Gaia OS.  
As a result, state of OSPF neighbors changes from FULL to DOWN.

## Cause

Possible causes:

* Limitation of OSPF if Dead interval is configured too low.
* CPU on VRRP cluster members is overloaded. As a result, timers are delayed.
* VRRP timer execution is delayed by 5.693 seconds. As a result, OSPF Hello timer is delayed by 6 seconds. As a result, VRRP cluster members "see" the OSPF neighbor going DOWN since OSPF Hello was sent after 7 seconds.
