## Symptoms

- * Scenario 1:
  * `"Failed to connect to the domain Management Server managing the VSX gateway/cluster. Please make sure that the active Domain Management servers up"` error appears When trying to edit a Virtual System on target CMA GUI.
  * FWM debug on Target CMA shows:

    ```
    		User Message:
    		Debug Message: Schema does not contain type 'vs_cluster_netobj' under namespace http://www.checkpoint.com/Objects
    		File Name: CDleSchemaMgr.cpp
    		Line number: 282
    		Inner: NONE
    		Details:
    		[FWM @MGMT[ ] CDleFastPass::getObject-->Failed converting from cpmix to dle
    ```

* Scenario 2: `"Failed to connect to the Domain Management Server managing the VSX gateway/cluster. Please make sure that the active Domain Management Server is up.`" error appears in SmartDashboard when creating a new Virtual System / Virtual Router / Virtual Switch.

* Scenario 3:
* `"Failed to connect to the domain Management Server managing the VSX gateway/cluster` error when opening VS objects.
  * The `vsx_util upgrade` command fails with `"No active Domain Management Server for Domain. Please make sure that the active Domain Management Server is up."`
## Cause

* In Scenario 1: *newDleSchema.xsd* file was corrupted on both Main and Target CMAs.

* In Scenario 2*: Target* Domain Management Server (that manages the newly created VS / VR / VSW) is not able to communicate with the *Main* Domain Management Server (that manages the VSX gateway/cluster).

* In Scenario 3: The domain name has been changed during an upgrade. The *target_customer* field in the main CMA database for the VS object is set to a non-existing domain.
