# sk106683 - How to create and link your certification to your profile

## Solution

In order to create and link your certification to your profile, you must establish your profile. In the event that your profile is not set up via the User Center (usercenter.checkpoint.com), follow the instructions provided below.

You will need to provide the email address that is listed on your PearsonVue account along with your first and last name.

If you wish to use a different email address, provide your current email address along with the new email address you wish to use. Please be sure to provide your candidate ID number, too.

**To set up your User Profile:**

1. Log into the User Center at <https://usercenter.checkpoint.com/usercenter/index.jsp>.

2. Click the **New Customers: Sign up Now!** link.

3. Complete the User Profile form.

4. Click the **Submit** button.

5. After you set up your new profile successfully, you will receive an automatic email address with your user name and temporary password. Now, contact Check Point [Account Services](https://help.checkpoint.com/s/) to connect your certifications. So that we can process your request, please include the following information:

* Candidate ID Number
* Email address to which you wish to link your certificate.
