# sk106664 - Traffic outage when exporting a Gaia OS snapshot or when enabling the Dynamic Routing traces

## Symptoms

- * Short traffic outage through a Security Gateway in these cases:

  * When exporting a Gaia OS snapshot
  * When enabling the Dynamic Routing traces
* The `/var/log/routed.log` file shows that the routing daemon (`routed`) stopped at the time of the problem:

  `routed[PID]: parse: routed0.conf:X Next hop for static route XXX/M can not be an address assigned to a local interface at 'end-of-statement'`  
  `
  routed[PID]: Exit routed[PID] version routed-XXX`

## Cause

There is a manually configured static route, in which the nexthop is one of these:

* The IP address of a local interface
* In a cluster, the Virtual IP address of a cluster interface
* Local Interface

The RouteD daemon stops and restarts because this configuration is not supported.
