# sk106647 - Scheduled Gaia backup fails in R77.30

## Symptoms

- * Scheduled Gaia backup fails to transfer backup file to remote server in R77.30:

  * Scheduled backup to remote server (SCP, FTP or Security Management) does not work if it is configured in R77.30 Gaia Clish (but works if it is configured in R77.30 Gaia Portal).
  * Scheduled backup to remote server (SCP, FTP or Security Management) does not work after upgrade to R77.30 if it was configured in previous Gaia version.
* */var/log/CPbackup/backup_logs.elg* file shows:  

  `Failed to transfer the package to the remote server: <IP_Address_of_SCP_Server>`

* The error on the receiving SCP server shows:  

  `sshd[`*PID*`]: Failed password for <username> from <IP_Address_of_Gaia> port ... ssh2`

## Cause

* Scheduled backup password configured in Gaia Clish R77.30 is corrupted.
* Scheduled backup password configured in previous Gaia version gets corrupted after upgrade to R77.30.
