# sk106186 - TACACS users are not provided with the expected UID when remotely logging in

## Symptoms

- * When using TACACS for non-local users authenticating, these users are not assigned with the expected UID.   
  Due to this users cannot run `cphaprob stat / fw stat` commands. The following message is displayed:   

  `"bash: cphaprob: command not found"`   

* The output of `id` command from the command line of the gateway the TACACS user is logged in to, shows that currently applied UID is 96:  

  `[Expert@GW]# id`  

  `
  uid=96(_nonlocl) gid=100(users) groups=100(users)`

## Cause

TACACS users are assigned with a UID of 96 (Instead of 0) which limits the privileges these users receive.
