## Solution

**Can Audit Logging for SmartDashboard be disabled?**

Audit Logging for SmartDashboard ***cannot***be disabled. This is unlikely to change in the future as allowing Audit Logging to be disabled would have regulatory considerations.

**Audit Logging for Gaia Portal can be modified** (but not disabled) as follows:

1. Log in to Gaia Portal.

2. Go to 'System Management' - 'System Logging'.

3. Clear the box "Send audit logs to management server upon successful configuration".

4. Clear the box "Send audit logs to syslog upon successful configuration".
5.
