## Symptoms

- * No connection to correlation unit on SmartEvent after upgrade.
* In the install policy report, see:  
  Unable to find object  
  Warning: The network object is not defined  
  Error processing Ignore rule (problematic field - 'Src')  
  ERROR: Failed to build exception for rule High_connection_rate_to_internal_host_on_service  
  Failed to build correlation policy for event 'High connection rate to internal host on service'

## Cause

User defined events do not keep their references upon upgrade.

This causes DB corruption.

User defined events should be removed.
