# sk105402 - SmartEvent server is not communicating with CLM servers

## Symptoms

- SmartEvent server (defined as Global object) does not communicate with CLM.

## Cause

The SmartEvent Correlation Unit was able to see the Log server, however, it could not establish SIC with objects from the local (CMA) database while being defined as a Global object.
