# sk105382 - Virtual Machine on Security Gateway VE Network Mode might crash and enter a reboot loop

## Symptoms

- * Virtual Machine on Security Gateway VE Network Mode might crash and enter a reboot loop.

* The following is seen on the console during boot loop, and in */var/log/boot.log* file, when booting Virtual Machine in "Maintenance mode":

* Deleting all interfaces in a Virtual Machine resolves the issue. However, this issue may reoccur randomly, for instance, after changing the number of CPU cores in the Virtual Machine, or after installing a policy on the Security Gateway VE.

## Cause

The Rx / Tx ring size that was configured on interfaces is not supported on Security Gateway VE as described in [sk101209 - R77.20 Known Limitations](http://supportcontent.checkpoint.com/solutions?id=sk101209):  
Limitation 01481843 - TX/RX ringsize configuration via Gaia OS is not supported.
