## Symptoms

- * The following error appears in SmartDashboard after editing an object and click on OK:

  ```
  
  Failed to save object NAME_OF_OBJECT
  Server error is: Validation error in field '@FIELD_NAME' at object 'NAME_OF_OBJECT' @ 'network_objects' --> The value '0' is not in the list of valid values 'RANGE'. (Code: 0x#######, Object Validation Failed)
  Please contact technical support
  ```

* Setting the value of the problematic variable in the involved object to a valid value (integer in the displayed range) per [sk64641](http://supportcontent.checkpoint.com/solutions?id=sk64641) did not help.

## Cause

Corrupted database - *$FWDIR/conf/objects_5_0.C* file.
