## Symptoms

- * Failure to install policy. SmartDashboard shows the following error: "load on module failed during prepare in kernel"
* This failure is more likely to happen on Security Gateway deployments with small RAM size (2GB-4GB).
* Kernel debug may shows: \[cpu_0\];\[fw4_0\];mal_ip_rep_table_prepare: ld_create_uncommited() failedfwk_atomic_load_prepare: fwk_cmi_prepare failed; \[cpu_0\];\[fw4_0\];fwk_free_services_array: Array is already empty;

## Cause

Failure to allocate memory in FW kernel during policy installation due to memory fragmentation.
