# sk103879 - The CTASD process might crash even when the Anti-Spam blade is disabled

## Symptoms

- * CTASD (Commtouch Anti-Spam daemon) process frequently crashes.  

* */var/log/dump/usermode* directory gets full several times per day because of the large amount of core dump file created.  

* Security gateway retransmits FIN-ACK for an old session.  

* "TCP packet out of state: First packet isn't SYN; tcp_flags: FIN-ACK" message in the log.

## Cause

CTASD process encountered a stability issue and can crash even when the Anti-Spam blade is disabled.
