# sk103862 - Mobile Access authentication with Dynamic ID is not working

## Symptoms

- * Dynamic ID is not working - OTP (One Time Password) window pop-up is not presented.
* Traffic towards the SMS (Short Message Service) server leaves the Security Gateway, but times out.
* The feature might have worked in the past and stopped even though no changes were made.

## Cause

Due to POODLE Bite vulnerability most SMS/OTP servers changed their encryption version to TLS1.0 and above.

Mobile Access Dynamic ID default SSL version is SSLv3 which has been found vulnerable.

**When an OTP request is sent to an SMS server it is sent using SSLv3 and thus fails.**
