# sk103843 - "shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories" error during upgrade from SecurePlatform to Gaia

## Symptoms

- Upgrading Multi-Domain Security Management Server from SecurePlatform OS to Gaia OS using CLI method ("`patch add cd`" command) repeatedly shows the following error:  

"`shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory`"
