## Symptoms

- * "`Nothing needed to be done`" is returned when running "*set user \<username\> lock-out off* " command in Clish to unlock a user that has been locked out per the "Deny Access to Unused Accounts" configuration ("*set password-controls deny-on-nonuse ...*" commands).

* */var/log/messages* file shows:  

  `User <username> has not logged in in over <number> days; not allowing`

## Cause

The */etc/loginhist2/user_name* file (contains *nonuse* days count) is not used correctly.
