# sk103368 - Internal URLs and hostname are not resolved from internal DNS server for Remote Access Clients for Gaia Embedded

## Symptoms

- * The `nslookup` output shows that although the Check Point VPN Client is using the right DNS server, the URL that works from the internal network, cannot be resolved  

* Packet capture shows that the object or URL that we try to resolve, for example `my-server`, is resolved as `my-serverv.info.local`, which is a wrong domain.

## Solution

This is an expected behavior.   
If not specified, the objects you try to resolve will append info.local.

To resolve internal URLs from internal DNS server for Remote Access Clients, specify the local domain name in your DNS server.

1) Go tp VPN tab \> Advanced  
Next to "Same as DNS domain name" click "Configure manually..."

2) Clear this option and click Apply

3) Specify the local domain name you would like to automatically append to objects
