# sk102297 - Security Gateway does not strip "X-Fordwarded-For" data from HTTP packets

## Symptoms

- Security Gateway does not strip the "X-Forwarded-For" data from proxied from HTTP packets, although it was configured to do so per [sk100223](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk100223).

## Cause

Traffic captures showed that packets coming from the 3rd party Proxy server had "X-Forwarded-User" strings instead of "X-Forwarded-For".
