# sk102247 - "Contract is expired" popup message appears for blade that is not enabled during Policy Installation

## Symptoms

- * When installing a policy, a popup message saying "Contract is expired", or about to expire, appears for one of the following blades:  
  * Anti-Bot
  * Anti-Virus
  * Anti-Spam
  * Application Control
  * URL Filtering

* The blade in the warning message is not enabled on the Gateway that the policy is installed on.   

* SmartView Tracker shows "`Contract entitlement check failed. Could not resolve "updates.checkpoint.com", check DNS configuration on the gateway`".

## Cause

The reason may be one of the following:

1. DNS is not enabled / configured.
2. Connectivity issue between the Security Management Server and [https://updates.checkpoint.com](https://updates.checkpoint.com/) or [http://cws.checkpoint.com](http://cws.checkpoint.com/)
