**To attach an unattached Central license to an object:**

1. Open the Repository by selecting **View Repository** from the **Licenses \& Contracts** menu.
2. Right-click the correct license.
3. Select **Attach License** from the menu.
4. Select the Module you want to attach the license to.
5. Click **Attach**.

**Note** - Evaluation licenses are supported for Quantum Spark / SMB appliances running Gaia Embedded OS starting in R77.20.70, and Edge devices. When providing an IP address, it is recommended to use an internal IP address and not the external one.

(4) Creating Evaluation Licenses for Specific Products {#Creating Evaluation Licenses for Specific Products}
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The standard all-in-one evaluation license is applicable for managing both physical and virtual machine (VM) environments, as well as for Gateway (GW) devices. However, for more specialized products, a dedicated evaluation license is required.

To obtain a license for CloudGuard or any product other than the standard Security Management Server or Security Gateway, select an option other than "all-in-one."

### Small-Medium Business Appliances (SMB) {#Toggle_four}

> For Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB), the designated evaluation license option is "Threat Prevention Evaluation."
>
> When you select this option, you are prompted to select the User Center account associated with the SMB device. In addition, the user that creates the evaluation license must be linked to the specified User Center account. Enter the MAC address of the SMB device during this process.
>
> When finished, the evaluation blades are integrated into the specified SMB device. Subsequently, the license for the SMB device must be generated and applied.

### CloudGuard

> To obtain a CloudGuard license, navigate to the **Other Evaluation Option** section and select "**CPSG-VEN-NGTP-GW-8-EVAL**."
>
> This option generates a VSEC license for 8 cores. Keep in mind that these licenses are cumulative. If you require more than 8 cores, then it is necessary to create additional licenses of the same type.

### Multi-Domain Security Management (MDS)

> To obtain an MDS license, go to the **Other Evaluation Option** section and select **CPSM-NGSM50-MD5-EVAL**.
>
> This selection generates an MDS license for 50 gateways and 5 domains.
>
> **Note** - Domain licenses can be added cumulatively, but if more than 5 domains are required, additional licenses of the same type must be created.

### Harmony products

> For Harmony products such as Harmony Endpoint, Harmony Browse, Harmony Email \& Collaboration, and Harmony Mobile, locate the relevant option **Other Evaluation Option** and search for "**harmony.**". After you select the appropriate product, generate the license.
>
> For Harmony Endpoint and Harmony Browse, the licenses must be generated after creation. However, for other Harmony products, after the evaluation license is created, it can be associated with the Infinity Portal.

To obtain an evaluation license for the specified products, navigate to the **Other Evaluation Option** section. In this section, search for the specific device type you require the evaluation license for, such as TE1000X or TE2000X.

After you locate the appropriate option, proceed to create the evaluation license. After the license is generated, apply it to the corresponding device as part of the activation process.
