# sk101967 - "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/login.tcl on this server" error when connecting to Gaia Portal

## Symptoms

- * "`Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/login.tcl on this server`" error when trying to connect to Gaia Portal.
* After entering username when connecting via SSH, we see the message "No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey)"

## Cause

There is no explicit firewall rule, that allows the connection to the WebUI

OR

The */etc/hosts.allow* file on Gaia machine does not contain the required entries

OR

The etc/hosts.allow file is been modified from the default setting of ALL:ALL
