## Symptoms

- Unable to configure PPPoE on ClusterXL.

## Cause

Check Point cluster does not support PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet).

This applies to all software versions of ClusterXL, VRRP Cluster on Gaia OS, and Scalable Platforms (Maestro / Scalable Chassis).

## Solution

This behavior is by design.
