# sk101611 - "MADService.exe" process consumes CPU at high level

## Symptoms

- "MADService.exe" process consumes CPU at high level on the Terminal Server.

## Cause

One of the possible causes for high CPU utilization by the MAD service is a large number of running processes on the Windows machine. The Identity Agent learns about the new logged users by iterating the process list, and if it is too long, this can cause high CPU utilization.

Note: "MADService.exe" process will always consume CPU during its work.
