# sk101495 - Gaia Cloning Group fails to sync with the error "libwrap refused connection to <HostName> (libwrap=rmbserver) from x.x.x.x"

## Symptoms

- * Gaia settings do not synchronize in the configured Cloning Group.

* The /var/log/messages files contain this error:

  *libwrap refused connection to \<Gaia HostName\> (libwrap=rmbserver) from \<IP Address of Cloning Group Member\>*

## Cause

By design, if the applicable IP addresses are not included in the [*/etc/hosts.allow*](http://linux.die.net/man/5/hosts.allow), the receiving Cloning Group member refuses the sync connection.

Note - By design, the */etc/hosts.allow* file contains the entry *ALL: ALL*.
