# sk101149 - "Error: Disk space usage is above allowed value" is displayed for Threat Emulation blade

## Symptoms

- * In SmartConsole \> the **Logs \& Event** view displays this error for the Threat Emulation blade: "`Error: Disk space usage is above allowed value`".

* Output of the `df -h` command on the Threat Emulation Gateway shows that there is more than 10GB free space in the */var/log/* partition.

* Output of the `cpstat threat-emulation` command on the Threat Emulation Gateway shows the same output as in the SmartView Monitor.

## Cause

By default, Threat Emulation is set to stop emulation when the amount of free disk space drops below 20% of the available partition space.
