# sk101148 - Not sharing identities with Security Gateway natted behind "sharing" Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- * Not sharing identities with Security Gateway natted behind "sharing" Security Gateway.
* The "sharing" Security Gateway shows that a remote Security Gateway is disconnected when running the command, # pdp connections pep.
* [sk60701](http://supportcontent.checkpoint.com/solutions?id=sk60701) is not relevant because the Security Gateway IP address cannot be changed since there are other Security Gateways communicating with the natted IP address.

## Cause

The "sharing" gateway is communicating with the IP address that is configured on the gateway object.

When one of the gateways is natted behind another gateway, the local gateway will try to open a communication channel with the Main IP address, while the actual IP address is natted behind the same gateway.
