# sk100971 - TLSv1 "Server Hello" packets are dropped by Application Control of HTTPS

## Symptoms

- * SmartView Tracker and debug show that TLSv1 "Server Hello" packets are dropped by Application Control of HTTPS.

* Application Control of HTTPS is configured correctly.

* 'ssl_v3' service ([sk93450](http://supportcontent.checkpoint.com/solutions?id=sk93450)) is not used.

* FW Monitor shows that TLSv1 packets are passing through Pre-Inbound chain ("i") and Post-Inbound chain ("I"), but do not pass through Pre-Outbound chain ("o") and Post-Outbound chain ("O").

## Cause

In Server Hello, the "Alert Type 112" ("*[unrecognized_name](https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6066#section-3)*" alert of Server Name Indication extension of the TLS protocol) is not supported yet.
