## Symptoms

- * After taking a snapshot on Gaia OS, machine continually boots into GRUB command prompt.

## Cause

The snapshot mechanism in Gaia OS creates a pointer file in the `/boot` partition. Over time, these pointers can fill up the `/boot` partition to 100%.
