## Symptoms

- * fwd crashes intermittently on log server.
* fwd.elg shows "cpdict_add_entry: fail to alloc: Cannot allocate memory lvtrack_parse: realloc() failed FireWall-1 daemon going to die on sig 6"
* fwd.elg is filled with similar lines to below. "Failed to open file '/opt/CPsuite-R75.40/fw1/log/2013-02-09_112352_15.log': No such file or directory"
* Logs slow to appear on the LEA client. Taking hours to appear.
* fwd.elg shows sic communication issues between CLM and LEA client.

## Cause

$FWDIR/log/fw.logtrack contains entries for log files that no longer exist in $FWDIR/log.

An error will appear in fwd.elg for each log file entry that exists in fw.logtrack, but no corresponding file exists in $FWDIR/log

Frequently this will occur if the logs are manually deleted instead of using the Disk Space Management tool.
