# sk100396 - Routing does not work after initial ClusterXL configuration on Gaia OS

## Symptoms

- * Routing does not work after initial ClusterXL configuration on Gaia OS (creating cluster object and installing the policy):  

  Although Dynamic Routing protocol is enabled (e.g., OSPF), neighborship is not established and routes are not exchanged.

* When running the '`show cluster state`' command in the ICLID shell, the following output is produced:

  ```
  
  [Expert@Cluster_Member_HostName:0]# iclid
  Cluster_Member_HostName> show cluster state
  Cluster:   CPCL_CXL_RT_STANDALONE
  ```

## Cause

Upon creation of the cluster, RouteD daemon was not restarted in clustered mode, and is still running in standalone mode. This is incompatible with the ClusterXL framework.
