# sk1000107 - Quantum Spark Web Portal presents the default self-signed certificate after a third-party certificate is selected

| Property | Value |
|----------|-------|
| Solution ID | sk1000107 |
| Date Created | 2026-09-03 |
| Last Modified | 2026-09-06 |
| Technical Level | General |
| Products | Spark Firewall (Centrally Managed) |
| Versions | R81.10.X, R82.00.X |
| OS | Gaia Embedded |

## Symptoms

- * After a new third-party CA-signed certificate including the complete certificate chain is imported, the Web Portal continues to present the default self-signed certificate instead of the selected imported certificate.

* Under **Installed Certificates** , only the server certificate appears at Level 0 after the import.

* The intermediate CA certificates and root CA certificate are not displayed in the certificate chain.

* The file */flash/tmp/https.crt* contains only the server certificate and does not include the complete certificate chain.

## Cause

A software condition in the Spark Firewall certificate import process prevents the HTTPS service from processing the complete certificate chain from the imported PKCS# (.p12) certificate bundle.

Because the certificate chain is incomplete, the generated file */flash/tmp/https.crt* contains only the server certificate. The Web Portal then uses the default self-signed certificate instead of the imported certificate.
