# sk1000092 - Web SmartConsole gives "no identity provider defined" on secondary MDS or MLM

## Symptoms

- The primary MDS is configured for SAML authentication and it works

When trying to log in using an Identity Provider (IDP) via SAML to a secondary MDS or a MLM all user get an error stating "no identity provider defined"

## Cause

IDP configuration is only synced to secondary MDS machines when at least one domain is created on them

## Solution

Create a secondary Domain Management Server(DMS) or a Domain Log Module(DLM) on the system.
