# sk1000058 - Check Point Browser Extension Does Not Load on macOS When using conflicting MDM profiles

## Symptoms

- The Check Point browser extension does not load in Chromium-based browsers on macOS.

The issue can occur in:

* Google Chrome
* Microsoft Edge
* Brave

## Cause

In Chromium-based browsers, extension deployment is controlled by the `ExtensionInstallForcelist` policy.

If `ExtensionInstallForcelist` is defined as an empty list, it can override the MCX-based forced-install configuration applied by Check Point and prevent the browser extension from loading on macOS.

## Solution

Ensure that the extension is explicitly allowed by MDM.

Do one of the following:

* Add the extension to the force-install list:   
  `deakbjemijlmlcehdgejmdpekkceodmk;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx`
* Remove the conflicting MDM browser policy so that the Check Point macOS configuration can take effect.
